West windows, sunrooms and big glass walls. Today’s films cut the heat and nearly all of the UV that fades floors, furniture and art, and many are clear enough that you keep the view.

PRIVACY AND DECORATIVE

Bathrooms, front doors, sidelights, offices and conference rooms. Frosted, reeded, gradient, etched and stained-glass looks, including Solyx decorative films. Light still comes in.

One honest note: mirror-style films give privacy in daylight but not at night when the lights are on inside. We’ll tell you which films hold up after dark.

OFFICES AND STOREFRONTS

Don’t want work going on while you’re open? We can schedule early mornings, or Saturdays if your office is closed. We install in daylight so we can see the work and keep the quality where it belongs.

SAFETY AND SECURITY

Film doesn’t make glass unbreakable. It decides what happens after the glass breaks: it holds the pieces together instead of letting shards fly, and it slows down someone trying to get through.

How well it does that depends on film thickness and on how the film is tied to the frame. We install wet-glaze edge attachment, bonding the film to the frame with structural silicone, so the glass and frame work together.

Government and institutional buildings rate this on the GSA scale, which measures how far fragments travel after a blast. Ask us what your project calls for.

FILM WE INSTALL

LLumar, MaxPro and Madico architectural films. Before we recommend anything, we measure your glass with a spectrometer for light, heat and UV, then pick the film that does the job on that glass.
